With no doubt

I believe that there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow, but I doubt;
The rainbow I've seen, you will find your gold at the end
When you walk the path of faith, passion, tenacity

I believe in unicorns, but I doubt;
Children for sure have seen them
The gracious rode along on their backs
The rest of us must find our grace and long for lost innocence

I believe in leprechaun, but I doubt;
No doubt of its existence, but that they are green and short.

I believe in paradise, but I doubt;
In paradise I live, the earthly path I walk
It is my trail, there I exist

I believe in magic and the magical, but I doubt
Magic is you. When I feel your gaze, when I smile with you
The magic, our moments, when we saw each other for the first time
The days when we loved one another, the road we walked together

And the things we never said.

I believe in fairy godmothers who will make my dreams come true, but I doubt;
They are in every being I know and everything I learn
My dreams are illusions, reflections, a possibility
Of what I hope today's uncertain world, tomorrow just  may be

I believe in the ideal and eternal love, but I doubt;
Love is a thought that many envision, some know
And only a few live.
Eternity is a long time if we think of time and space
Capture infinity in an instant possible and when we live we can

I believe in God, but I doubt
When I wake up every morning and look around
How much beauty, love and joy contained in a moment, enclosed in my space
In it I search for your promise, Paradise, Nirvana my Shangri-La
Interlocking madness, hatred, greed and lust
I understand that everything is part of the story we write
When I doubt I live a life, I walk a path I am a man

Search

the search for enlightenment is full of gaps along the way

opened to us in an instant for a moment     

They shed light on the path and guide the one walking it

Love is a lesson, a gift, a way

Many pages we don't always understand

Compassion a 1000 mile journey of life and dreams   

.to comprehend other's glee, glum and disappointment while wearing that other's shoes

Forgiveness the combination of love and compassion is 

Forget, let go, reestablish, love again

When able to understand and accept these three illusions

For a moment, the life will be enriched and the soul will be en lighted
